A total workout routine is a strength training program geared to train most or all of the entire body during each workout rather than split it up in to different segments. With other types of workouts you might focus on one area alone like (arms, legs or abs) but with a full body routine, every day is a "full body" day. This means you will train all of the muscle groups in each workout. These muscle groups are chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, quads, hamstrings, abs, glutes and calves. This program is meant to be followed 3 times per week with rest time in between.
